Participants begin with 4 private lessons, which usually take place within a 14 day period. Each session runs from 60-90 minutes, depending on individual needs.

group exercise

We analyze range of motion, levels of flexibility, perform a gait analysis, and look for muscular and skeletal imbalances. This information assists us in designing a custom workout that is better able to respond to postural dysfunction, improve physical performance for sport-specific training, reduce chronic pain, manage conditions, and rehabilitate injuries.

Following these 4 sessions, clients then have the option of either continuing with private sessions, or moving into small groups where participants share instruction with 1-4 other clients, who are each working on their own individualized exercise program. 

Pilates workouts are quite dynamic in that they are continuously evaluated and changing.  As each participant demonstrates the ability to perform the movements efficiently, new exercises are introduced to the program, providing an exhilarating and constantly challenging fitness regime.  It is common to have new exercises introduced every 12-16 weeks in circumstances where the participant is working out 2-4 times per week, and mastering the exercises with control and efficiency.

Pre and post-natal workout designs require more frequent private sessions, to respond to the rapid changes that occur during pregnancy, and the recovery from delivery or c-section.  For more information on our pre and post-natal pilates programs, please contact the studio.
